New Zealand
New Zealand consists of two islands with a combined population of over 4 million. The terrain varies from coastal beach regions to mountainous areas primarily in the South Island. It is a developed country both socially and technologically. Many have become familiar with its remarkable beauty due to increased migration, tourism, and recent media publicity. As a result, New Zealand is continually growing and has become a catalyst for evangelism to this area of the world. An estimated 70% of Kiwis (New Zealanders) are European decent while about 14% are of the indigenous Maori decent. Another 16% claim Pacific islander or immigrants from Asian countries.
